About Seth Rought

I am a senior at St. Cloud State University pursuing a degree in Professional Communication. I have five years of experience in the telemarketing industry. That time has taught me valuable lessons and skills. I am currently employed at the Renewal by Andersen national inside calling center, starting as a scheduling agent before being promoted to a confirmation agent within two years. This career has taught me valuable communication skills through this experience of speaking with people from all different backgrounds. I am also taking part in a sales and training communication internship. My responsibilities include reviewing and proposing a refresh for the inside sales script, developing training materials and training plans to deliver to new and existing staff, and assisting in training in the current new training class. This experience so far has been incredibly valuable, not only giving me a taste of a possible future career but also placing me in a teacher's shoes, learning how valuable knowledge is and how to effectively share that with students, or in this case, new hires.My goal is to continue to move up and unlock new opportunities.
