Coordinated the launch, in Spring 2015, and expansion, in Spring 2016, of the city’s first and highly successful bike sharing program.Responsible for ensuring that 100+ bike share stations and 1000+ bikes throughout the City of Philadelphia were safely maintained and available for customer use. Managed a staff of 16 including: station technicians, bicycle mechanics, and drivers who were responsible for ensuring safe and reliable bike share service. Created, implemented and monitored employee job safety protocols and standard operating procedures for both warehouse and field operations. Regularly coordinated with a wide range of vendors and subcontractors to ensure bikes, bike stations and warehouse/office facilities were functioning safely and optimally.
