• Wireframed, designed (static and in-browser mock-ups using HTML5/CSS3), and developed the complete front-end experience for over 30 sites and web applications on a variety of back-ends (WordPress, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and others). Also developed detailed implementations from other designers' comps.• Created user and process flows for complex interactions and transactions, including a user dashboard and a social posting interface.• Edited content and built modules for existing WordPress and Ruby on Rails CMSes. Updated content and plugins, moved page elements, developed single page templates and custom themes, and used Advanced Custom Fields to make entirely user editable sites. WordPress development included working with phpMyAdmin, and MySQL.• Critically assessed my work in various device sizes and browsers, organizing and troubleshooting any discovered bugs.• Collaborated closely with lead developers, designers and project management on all projects from design to QA in order to keep projects on time and on budget. Organized and prioritized my responsibilities and tasks for the duration of a project.• Implemented Google Analytics custom event tracking with JavaScript, created custom JQuery interactions, and added SEO keywords/meta information.• Other back-end tasks included adding logic for dynamic page items or displaying responsive images, as well as occasional server set-up, database edits, writing redirects, and documentation.• Built animations with Animate.css as well as custom CSS transforms and transitions.• User-centered site design elements included improving product navigation, categorization, and information architecture, and calls-to-action that increased lead conversion.• Design experience has also included working with branding guidelines, creating branding materials (logos, banners, color palettes), style guides, and marketing copy.• Awarded Tech Star of the year (2014) from Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET).
