Look after the complete Logistics operations from Bangladesh & India to the destination. 1) Dealt with banks in USA (Wellsfargo & Webster) in releasing the docs.2) Instruct the custom clearing agent (Carmichael Intl) in USA for the custom clearance of goods.3) Co-ordinate with bank to send the docs to the forwarder and the carrier.4) Instruct/follow up with the forwarder in USA to get the containers fully released.5) Instruct the warehouse (JITANU WAREHOUSING & PHEONIX WAREHOUSE OF NJ LLC) to pick up the containers.6) Co-ordinate with EDI service provider (ROUNDHOUSE) to get UCC labels for each shipment and deliver the same to the warehouse through UPS/FEDEX.7) Routing the shipments of different buyers through their web portal and assign the pick up date and time to the warehouse.8) Co-ordinate with warehouse for the distribution of goods as per PO to different Distribution Centers of buyer.9) After handing over the goods to the buyer in their respective DC’s, getting the invoice processed to the corresponding buyers through the EDI service provider.10) Co-ordinating with Bangladesh and India offices for the timely delivery of goods to the forwarder.11) Monitoring the submission of ISF (Importer Security Filing) for all containers originating from Bangladesh to USA.12) Looked after the imports of fabric from Hong Kong / Taiwan to India.

Merchandising Operations Independently managing overall operations in India Office including Logistics, Merchandising, Production, Quality Control, Vendor Management & Purchasing of raw materials for india office & finished goods for USA office. Steering merchandising efforts in harmony with the business objectives; coordinating with international offices for profitable product merchandising.  Coordinating with production, quality control and logistics departments to ensure smooth functioning of all production activities. Overseeing pre-production files, measurement & worksheets; handling pre-production approval of pattern, material and workmanship. Analysing / rectifying production related problems in the earlier stages; evaluating viable alternative for the buyers / production team under mutual consent.Customer Relationship Management Identifying requirements & specifications, obtaining approval for production sample and conduct price negotiations to firm up the orders. Interacting with the factories & keeping principal informed on the status of running orders. Coordinating between buyers and manufacturers for facilitating smooth order execution and handling the entire business cycle from quotation to closing the sale. Resource Management Formulating and implementing the annual strategies for global purchasing of materials as per orders. Handled direct purchases for M.A design India Pvt. Ltd. & in direct purchases of Michael Aram Inc., USA  Budgeting and planning the funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost savings & meeting anticipatory orders for monthly sale. Imparting training to employees for enhancing skills and productivity levels.  Recruiting, motivating and mentoring a team of executives, ensuring optimum performance.
