I am an Audit Senior at Deloitte Sri Lanka with a strong foundation in external auditing across diverse industries, including apparel and manufacturing, telecommunications, and services. My expertise lies in applying Sri Lanka accounting standards, IFRSs, ISAs, and tax regulations, combined with proficiency in accounting and ERP packages, to effectively assess risks, strategize audits, compile evidence, and communicate findings. With prior experience at PwC Sri Lanka, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.I hold a First Class distinction in Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of Jaffna, where I was honored with the A. Velupillai memorial prize for academic excellence. As a dedicated student at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, I am currently pursuing the Strategic Level. My aspirations revolve around achieving Chartered Accountant status and securing a challenging role in the Finance sector that fosters professional growth and contributes to the success of the organization.
