Assurant Employee Benefits acquired by Sun Life Financial March 2016Responsible for HCR ACA Full Family Dental 2015, Critical Illness Benefit 2015, Out of Network Claims Repricing through Stratose (currently) and Keystone Bill Reconcilliation projects. I manager the overall SDLC process for IT Projects within AEB. I am also responsible for piloting new business analyst and quality assurance SDLC process updates.

As a consultant at ECCO Select, I was a Project Management professional on site at Assurant Employee Benefits. I was responsible for all aspects of IT Project Management including all phases of the SDLC. I was personally responsible for ACA and Critical Illness Product Offering development at Assurant Employee Benefits.

• Staff Software Engineer• Responsible for overall Program/Project Management and strategy of the two strategic knowledge management software development efforts for Information Management and SWG, ServDB and Wellspring.• Responsible for defining the overall architecture roadmap and functional solution design.• ServDB (8000+ users) was adopted within IBM Software Group as the strategic operational tool of choice for customer demographics, staff performance management, efficiency, process standards compliance and product (defects vs. usage) reporting and data mining. ServDB leveraged DB2, Websphere and internal reporting available through DB2 scripting. ServDB was identified as a trusted source for strategic reporting used across Software Group users.• Wellspring (5000+ users) was adopted within IBM Software Group as the strategic knowledge repository (live, legacy (stored) and active (stored) data) searchable via a federated connection across disparate sources (DB2, Oracle, Informix, Cloud Based, ClearQuest, Internet based, Knowledge Repositories (DCF), forums, and other tooling) using Omnifind to provide the search platform for formatting, indexing, mapping, customizations for user experience and integration onto a common user experience. • Responsible for all program and stakeholder management related to these initiatives (communication, requirements gathering, use case development, iteration planning, SCRUM management, project kickoff, requirements review, testing and approval, decision checkpoint management, change management, project management systems, reporting, backlog management and audit compliance). • Developed Agile Project Management Office and Software Development Methodologies used for ServDB and Wellspring programs and adopted across IM eSupport and Tools team projects.
