CurrentBeekman 1802 is a skin health brand based on the clinical science of two ingredients: Goat Milk and Kindness.Before joining, Beekman 1802 had supplier quality losses totaling ~$300k. Within one year, this amount was credited back in full to Beekman 1802.Shane established ISO 2859 and ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 SOPs for inbound and outbound goods with all contract manufacturers (CMs); Developed extensive quality contracts between Beekman 1802 and CMs; Resolved financial disputes over quality issues with contract manufacturers; established directives and supervised all third-party testing required for successful product launches, product information files (PIFs), and regulatory compliance; Analyzed pre-production packaging for any potential quality pitfalls; Collaborated directly with customer service to identify quality issue trends to initiate root cause analysis and CAPAs with CMs; Ensured that all product artwork is complaint with FDA (MoCRA), EU, and UK regulations; Discovered production/formula errors by prioritizing production line trials and internal employee formula testing prior to new product launches; Ensured all contract manufacturers are cGMP compliant; Provided CMs with a quarterly vendor score card utilizing invoicing, shipping, and quality data.
