Successfully migrated data for over 2000 customers using SQL and other tools into SQL Server and Salesforce.Data manipulation in Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL Server and various other file formats as needed.Manipulate live data in databases using best practices for maintaining data integrity.Proactively follow through the entire migration process to ensure the accuracy of the migrations as well as to report any unexpected issues. Also resolve the issues and/or give the client options as to their choice in each issue.Thoroughly document all migration work, particularly new competitor migration that may be useful in training other staff and developing migration tools, including leaving detailed correspondence after each point of contact.Project management of migration process including scheduling, estimating, and finalizing migration scope by consulting with clients to determine which information can and should be retained in destination software package.Independently manage multiple software migration, including tracking deadlines and schedules and communicating status with clients, other Migration Engineer Team members, and other teams within Salesforce and SQL Server.Identify opportunities for automation within day-to-day processes and develop automated tools (in SQL and/or scripting languages such as PowerShell) to standardize those processes.Assist with mentoring and sharing knowledge across the team to enable the team to continuously evolve in terms of process, knowledge and competence.Independently complete software migrations, including data analysis, data mapping, data conversion and follow-up work.
