KillBiller was a mobile application dedicated to helping people switch mobile plans and save money. KillBiller automatically analysed mobile phone usage from phone logs or uploaded mobile bills, compared costs against all plans available on the Irish and UK markets, and recommended offers to users. As part of KillBiller, customer simulation technology capable of cent-level cost simulations across thousands of mobile plans was developed and sold directly to mobile operators for use in customer value management and customer retention activities.In 2017, the KillBiller engine was integrated with the comparison service offered by the Commission for Communications Regulation (Comreg). The service is still available for consumers at www.comreg.ie.
