My degree is in Maritime Business Administration from Texas A&M Galveston, but my higher education began at Bauer Business College at the University of Houston. I've studied accounting, finance, marketing, port operations, and maritime law, and I am eager to enter a career utilizing that knowledge. I've been a restaurant server while in school which has allowed me to gain a strong team ideology, conflict resolution capabilities, as well as working in a fast-paced setting. Since graduating I have served as the Executive Assistant and intern for the COO of Strategic Analytics gaining valuable insight into project management, risk assessment, and federal contract acquisition as well as the operation of a high-level executive. I have worked with a great team alongside the Texas DOW Employees Credit Union in successfully creating a more appealing online presence to raise awareness for millennial and Gen-Z applicants while studying business at UH. While studying Maritime I dove into voyage estimations, maritime law, logistics, and port operations. I am very result-driven/ oriented which has served me well during my education but I am now interested in investing my efforts in a position that suits me.
