I am passionate about human rights, disability advocacy, research and training. I currently work at the National Disability Institute (NDI) in Washington, DC, on initiatives related to disability employment and financial empowerment, as well as research on disability, race and poverty. Prior to NDI, I worked with adults with mental health disabilities, securing housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and providing community-based mental health and advocacy services. I also taught youth with learning disabilities while earning a master's degree in Education, worked as reasonable accommodation for a human rights professor at American University while earning a master's in Ethics, Peace and Global Affairs, and studied abroad in Belgium, Ghana and Cuba. I love connecting across cultures and creating inclusive learning spaces.
