Provide leadership and strategic planning for all facilities services consisting of maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, construction planning and management, capital planning, event management, post office, copy center,campus security and the bookstore.Successfully built and opened a new residence hall including two off campus moves of students to house them during construction, managed numerous projects and renovations, and daily operations for 10 years.

Process operations management for VA State Tax returns and other filings. Process Re-engineering team member for the department. Management of over 200 FT and temporary employees during tax filing season. Provided analysis of Process throughput to help develop statistical SOP for department.

Provided direct leadership of the housekeeping and event support services, maintenance services to approximately 1700 pieces of business equipment, and supervision of the work request control center for scheduling campus maintenance work..

Provided production leadership for two sections consisting of 64 employees of manufacturing plant producing paper containers for the food and cosmetics industry.

Once operational, supervised operations and maintenance for one shft throughout the plant from the woodyard to shipping and warehousing and acted as department manager for the sawline, warehouse, and shipping area. 1982 - 1985 - Team Leader - Columbus Pulp and Paper - Columbus, MS -Team Leader for production team of 13 during start-up and operations of a new #5 grade coated paper plant that set a world record for reaching plant production levels in 3 1/2 years besting the record by 1 1/2 years.
