Created a test automation application using Java and Postgres for database interface. This framework is now the primary testing method for regression, Sprint testing, and formal test runs, and the basis for additional test frameworks. Peripheral work included participating in Sprint ceremonies and assigning subtasks among a small team of junior engineers. The code update process involved creating branches on GitHub, peer reviews, and merges. I also documented the process of creating new automated tests and backing code updates to the framework. Additional work included creating scripts to simplify processing (input, output, and data evaluation) of metrics from an existing 20,000 data set, distributed among VMs managed by Docker. While Java and SQL were the primary languages used in my time here, the work on the applications required knowledge of Javascript, React.js, and Go.

I worked on two projects. I modernized and added regression tests to Clinician App 1.6, a Windows-based app used by doctors to control a medical implant device used to treat epilepsy. The framework was originally written in Python using Squish for UI interaction. I ported the framework to Ranorex, which has a C# user code base. I also did peer reviews for other test engineers and was the gatekeeper for the merges from test branches to the development branch. The branches were run continuously with one station for each implant version.When it was determined by the manager that there would be no further updates to the software and there was sufficient automated coverage of regression tests, I was assigned to the Patient App. This is a new app designed for iOS and Android and this framework was written from scratch in Ranorex and we are writing new tests as the app code is being developed.

Used Python and C# in an Agile setting on an expense reporting application. The app was available on the web as well as on mobile devices, so but my focus was on the web application.

Same team as below. The work continued through the lifecycle of the previous project until the maintenance stage. From that point I continued to work on the automated test framework to facilitate regression testing and reporting. I began work on a new project, including writing a test plan, working with Systems Engineering to determine the acceptance test criteria for the requirements, writing automated test cases using Ruby and Selenium, and using Rally and Confluence to facilitate communication between test, development, systems engineering, and project leadership.

Developing a test framework using Java and Camel. This test framework inputs large amounts of data from excel spreadsheets and from a combinatorial testing tool and executes the workflow.

Use Java, and Selenium Webdriver to create an automated test framework for a web application and set up continuous integration using Jenkins. Back end is handled by MySQL. This and all previous projects back to 2010 were organized in an agile setting.

Established system test procedures for a new and growing project. Wrote test case templates, test plan templates, and test report templates. I established an automated testing framework which includes Selenium test scripts, custom Javascript extensions, Perl scripts, and shell scripts for a RESTful web application developed in Java in an agile environment. I implemented the basic test infrastructure as the project was in the design and development stages and continue to add tests and scripts as more functionality is added and the scope of the project expands. I run an abbreviated set of system tests at the end of each sprint, and a full load of regression tests during the last sprint before a deployment.

Developed software used to monitor, parse, and analyze SCADA systems and electrical networks. Programming languages and tools used: Java, css, xml, c#, Oracle, Weblogic, and Visual Studio

•Developed, tested and maintained the server side of a software system involving a jsp front end, java functions, css, and Oracle database accessed via stored procedures. •Contributed to peer reviews of coworkers' software code as a reviewer and as documenter of the resulting code change decisions. •SWIT and regression tested SPRs related to the client (gui) side of the software system.

•Worked with nine different systems that use varied problem reporting systems (Peregrine Service Center, Clearcase, ClearDDTS, Tivoli) to coordinate builds and PR work-off through the E CMB (Configuration Management Board).•Acted as an alternate Secretariat for CMB meetings and provided database support for the ECMB database, where the baseline information is stored. •The latter responsibility included running Microsoft Access reports, mild SQL and Visual Basic coding, and coordinating problem resolution efforts through the CAR database.•The position also required facilitation of organizational change and coordinating responses to IAVA security alerts.
