Shashank Parab, Founder - Director Indexnine Technologies, has 24+ years of software industry experience as effective business administrator, strategic project and facilities planner. He is an avid follower of industry trends and ability to understand customer needs. He has excellent leadership skills in building and leading successful technical teams across geography. He has worked with multiple silicon valley start-up companies to set up offshore product development teams and build products from scratch.As a Practice Head at GS Lab for the SaaS practice, led a team of 60+ engineers. He played a key role in strategic planning and execution to drive the business for his practice. This primarily includes generating new business leads and getting customers on board. Along with his leadership team, he is responsible to build the practice technology roadmap, develop software assets and compile technology collateral and case studies. He is in charge of timely deliverable with high quality for 10+ products, ranging from consumer to enterprise in domains such as Social, Mobile, Analytics (Big data) and Cloud Apps.Prior to GS Lab, Shashank worked with Symantec Software (formerly VERITAS Software) as Engineering Manager for Windows Storage Foundation and Clustering Solutions group. His team was responsible for developing the Solution Configuration Center that provided solutions for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and for additional applications and set up environment for Disaster Recovery (DR) environment. He closely worked with Product Managers to understand the existing customer pain points related to configuration and design an intuitive and user friendly configuration interface for the product stack.Shashank has Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Pune. He is an avid trekker, birdwatcher and wildlife photographer. He is also involved in social causes related to environment and education.
