Software Engineer for DirectorDirector is the center of home automation for Control4.  This process compiles/runs on Windows, x86 and ARM Linux.  It loads plug-ins and numerous drivers in-process and provides API’s to these modules via COM like interfaces.  It provides a SOAP like API to the Composer and Navigator pieces.  Using asynchronous TCP sockets, it provides drivers with the ability to talk to all available devices (Audio/Video, lights etc…). • Implemented a SSDP shared component for all of the Control4 processes•  Created a Navigator engine used by the remote and in-wall List Navigators•  Provided many shared pieces•  Created the command line make system for the windows and Linux builds

Software Engineer for DeFrame• Wrote a load balancing service. o        Balanced the load for Terminal Servers and provided this information via eDirectory.  NAL Terminal Server applications use this information to determine which server to launch on.o        Communicated with each server using UDPo        IPC MMF server that communicates with 3 processes asynchronouslyo        5 threads that interact with each other frequently• Created a complete replacement for Microsoft’s MSTSC.exe (Remote Desktop Client)o        This was done by embedding MSRDP.ocx using all of the interfaces it provideso        Added features MSTSC didn’t• Rewrote most of the DeFrame code (8 processes/dlls)• Created a build system for the DeFrame modulesSoftware Engineer for ZENworks Novell Application Launcher (NAL)• Created a thread that lives in a NAL Explorer.exe shell extension that provides all of the NAL applications/folders in the start menu, quick launch, desktop and system tray.• Created a COM dll that handles all UI for NAL.  This dlll forces all calls to a single UI thread that is communicated with asynchronously.• Created a build system for the NAL modules
