As a Recruiter my primary job function relates to a mini Project Manager. I act as a Liaison between the client and my team and also develop strategic sourcing strategies to support several sites across the Nation. My job is to manage the Recruiting process and ensure the clients hiring needs are met on a monthly basis.

As a Recruiting Coordinator I was responsible for several aspects of the candidate experience. I was tasked with scheduling phone, onsite, and virtual interviews. Once the candidates were identified as potential hires I would initiate the background and drug screen check and also monitor the progress. Once the background process was started I would also send out the offer letters to be signed. Alerted the hiring managers, recruiters, and security team of all new hires for the coming week that are scheduled to start. Assisted in annual audits and maintenance of files to ensure accuracy.For about a year I was also a co-facilitator of the monthly New Hire Orientation in which I would cover policy, procedures, and any benefit changes to the company.

As an automobile claim processor I applied company procedures and policy to evaluate insured claims. I interviewed and documented information about accidents or damage, go over the terms of the policy with involved parties and determined how claims were to be settled.Collected data from adjusters and appraisers to discuss claims with policy holders. I was entrusted to issue draft payments for several thousand dollars without additional approval needed.

As a Database Administrator I was in charge of keeping the company's donor list clean and accurate at all times. I spoke with the donors on a daily basis to inform them of our current campaigns and available products that TRI had to offer. I also played an instrumental part in the monthly mail solicitations that we would send out to several thousand of our donors to target certain groups. Also, this is where I developed my skills in working as an administrator as I would often fill in for the front receptionist. As a receptionist I worked a multi-line phone and completed any tasks needed for the Executive and Legal team as needed. The Rutherford Institute really allowed me to be versatile and cross train in many different areas. Non-profit organizations require individuals to be great at multi-tasking and to be open and willing to jump into any project that may come up.
