During my time with visa as a software engineer I have had a chance to gain a lot of knowledge about the front end framework Angular. In my current role I am responsible for building the front end of an application, while working in an agile environment with with back end developers to deliver a working application to the business owner.

During my time interning at Marathon I have gained experience in many areas of application development that I hadn't had any prior exposure. While with the company I've worked with the .Net framework extensively. Using C# to add new enhancements to an existing service, VB.NET to integrate two pre-existing programs, Javascript/JQuery for some client side scripting, and really improving my technical writing skills. I was able to accomplish all of this within the four months spent with the company. Overall my experience with the company has definitely helped me to prepare for my career.

While interning at visa I worked with a number of technologies that were previously foreign to me. I silent moody of my internship developing a web app for the UX research team to communicate with their business clients. For this SPA I developed using AngularJS. I also developed a newsletter template using HTML, and foundations for emails based on mockups that were provided to me by the design team . My final task as an intern at Visa was to develop web widgets for a business client using JQuery, HTML, and Bootstrap. My experience here was very educating, and definitely improved my skill set.

During this internship I worked with the SharePoint program extensively in many ways. I created and designed workflows in SharePoint 2010. I also did some troubleshooting of Microsoft Office programs for users, and solved some browser issues that they experienced. I also worked on a project while interning that required me to use the active directory service.
