As a foundation member of an independent Media agency, working at Scout has been my most exciting role to date. Within a small, close-knit team of experienced media specialists, we're fortunate to have the flexibility to work with our clients in bespoke ways, with the strategy and data smarts of a multinational agency.My role entails start to end paid media management; including everything from pitching on new business, client/supplier management, media strategy, planning/negotiating/buying, trafficking, reporting. The role has also seen me heavily involved in developing process and procedure including that required for onboarding new clients (including the techy stuff), financial management, reporting etc.As media manager, I have expert knowledge on all industry tools including: Roy Morgan Asteroid, Emma, eTAM, eRAM, AQX, Google analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Google Tag Manager, Curv8ture, BMD/Spectra, Jobbag, Nielsen Pathmatics + more

Key aspects of this role included strategic cross-media planning for a variety of national travel & youth brands, client management, client/media liaison, data analysis, & media negotiations.As a communications planner, I had direct accountability for the day-to-day supervision + training of co-ordinators, both within my immediate team and across the wider agency.

As a Comms co-ordinator, I worked closely with internal and external stakeholders, playing an integral role in bringing a media plan to life post campaign-approval.Working on a high-volume national travel client, I was very lucky to be exposed early on in my career to a wide range of media channels; including digital, out of home, press, mags radio, TV & cinema. The pace of this business required strong attention to detail, autonomy & initiative - as well as proficiency in using industry planning, tracking and analysis tools such as: BCC, eRAM, AQX, Roy Morgan, Emma, Move, Sizmek, Nielsen Pathmatics.I believe that the key to my success in this role was my ability to find efficiencies in process & approaching tasks with a solid communications plan. These skills made me incredibly reliable, particularly when it came to welcoming new clients (& new-starters), implementing innovative campaigns (often without precedent or a clear solution), and maintaining a healthy relationship with the Finance team:a relationship founded on mutual respect and minimal account queries!This experience armed me with the skills necessary to provide well-designed media recommendations & business solutions to my own clients. During my time as a Comms Coordinator, I started managing and planning for local area marketing campaigns, before moving on to look after national campaigns.
