Organize press conferences and create press kits, liaise with board and staff to ensure consistent messaging at press conferences and in follow-up interviews. Serve as spokesperson for organization. Author marketing and sale content, advertisements, newsletters, press releases, memos, reports, and online content. Serve as initial contact point for all media inquiries, assuring that the WSO presents itself effectively and in a manner that meets both the WSO and media’s interests.

Coordinate and implement marketing, communication, and development strategies to achieve the WSO’s subscription, fund raising and box office goals. Responsibilities include public relations, special events management, advertising, and creating brand awareness. Train telemarketing team for season ticket renewal and acquisition and subscriber customer service. Liaise with media and track editorial coverage. Prepare status reports on media and advertising efforts. Prepare reports tracking online media growth and web metrics. Responsible for the design and production of all print and digital creative. Author content for marketing materials including advertisements, flyers, posters, website, newsletters.
