Being a part of the Micronutrients team in ODL, I am responsible for performing routine testing of all in-process and finished goods dairy products and reporting results on LIMS in a timely manner to meet daily test turnaround KPI. I am also required to carry out additional work as delegated by the team leader/senior technician such as assisting with investigation and implementation of corrective actions along with participating in calibration of critical equipment, documentation, reviewing control charts and be involved in analytical test method validation.In addition to this, I'm also required to participate in Inter-Laboratory Comparison Programme and assist with investigation of any non-complying results (performing trial investigation runs on ICP-OES for multi-elements test) and take part in internal audits and undertake all "on bench" training to improve competency.

*Responsible for continually improving the GMP quality of laboratory testing by ensuring GMP laboratory systems regulation and standards while pertaining to the testing of pharmaceutical and veterinary products with timely delivery of test reports and CoAs to Product Quality. *Initiate joint efforts with Product Quality team for laboratory investigation relating to test issues during manufacturing and post distribution where required. *Handle sample management which includes; identifying sample type, storage, dispatch and tracking for assigned internal or external laboratory testing and, communicating with external laboratories with regards to testing requirements and results.*Ensure that all lab equipment are calibrated and monitored for compliance.*Perform analytical and physical testings of raw materials, in process, finished products and stability samples using HPLC, FTIR and UV-vis and report test results with appropriate documentation.*Responsible to initiate and complete OOS, deviations, laboratory investigations, PACA, along with making changes to test methods and specifications if required.*Provide input for improvement in the Laboratory Control System by reporting issues to management when appropriate.*Oversee housekeeping by maintaining appropriate and timely disposal of chemical waste as well as ensuring safe material handling and, helping in storage and stock rotation within the laboratory.

I have worked in the chemistry department, conducting analysis for solubility index of various types of milk powders in adherence to methods and procedures as per IOS 17025 laboratory accreditation principles along with updating reports on LIMS. Also, I have worked with IPQC team where I was trained for performing quality check of incoming raw milk and end products.
