As a Merchandise Buyer for Hecht's (formerly owned by The May Company - currently owned by Macy's / Federated Department Stores), Sherry traveled frequently to NYC, California, Texas, India, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to select and purchase merchandise. She selected styles from manufacturers showrooms to stock the lingerie, dress, suit, and junior sportswear departments for 23 Hecht's stores.
