I demonstrated efficient and effective project management while prioritizing multiple goals and working with many areas on campus simultaneously. While on this team, I researched new strategies in fundraising and used donor analytics to move our campaigns forward:• I planned Western’s first-ever, 24-hour online giving challenge (www.WesternGiveDay.com). This event raised more money for WWU in one day than ever before and continues to grow annually. At the inaugural event, we raised over $219,000 in one day and secured $125,000 in matching funds from major donors and corporations. This required mobilizing all units on campus with a unified message and outreach strategy. It also required building new systems for instant donor tracking and appreciation. • I facilitated Western’s first-ever Student Philanthropy Week as a kick-off to the $60 million Western Stands for Washington Campaign. This campaign encouraged gratitude and engagement between students, faculty and donors. We planned activities to increase awareness of the impact that giving has on campus. • I managed Western’s first-ever, campus-led crowdfunding initiative. We raised $20,000 in weeks to purchase an automated live-cell imaging microscope for the Biology Department. • During my time at Western, I sent more than 390,000 solicitations; and our team supported more than 15,000 donations and $10,796,902 dollars. I worked directly with clients to connect with advocates and governmental/non-profit resources within our community, always working with confidentiality and compassion. I supported our staff and volunteers; through scheduling, ordering, tracking grant revenue / expenditures and database management (clients, donations and grant income).

I managed the hiring / training of all hotel staff members and created standard operating procedures to create consistency and efficiency in customer service. I set and tracked quarterly revenue goals, managed inventory for 42 rooms and worked closely with other departments (spa, restaurant, facilities) to provide the highest level of hospitality for our customers.
