Out of college I spent a number of years establishing/building the company culture, sales platform and operational foundation for TEKsystems, Inc, a division of Aerotek/Allegis Group companies, an international privately owned company. My impact was originally for the Colorado market to include Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs, COAfter an amazing experience early in my career learning an ownership mentality in all things said and done, I awoke one day to ask myself if this was it or if this was all life had to offer? At the time, I felt as though I had reached the pinnacle of my growth opportunity with this amazing company.After a company sabbatical, I left the organization in order to seek other endeavors which I could find equally challenging, yet opportunities once again to build something special and to live passionately. My motto…” If you go to work every day for a paycheck...well, then you should find something you love and that moves you"…go find it!"After a successful and rewarding career, with TEKsystems, I was no longer coming to work with the best intentions in mind, but rather I was there for a paycheck and my stock plan… completely contradictory to how I managed my staff. Ultimately, it was time to move on.For the next several years, I was approached and worked for some of TEKsystem's most formidable competitors to help establish similar success and results across their operational business development platforms at a senior level on the way to establishing a consistent culture that delivered exceptional results.In each instance, after an amount of time, I recognized that these companies were not built to last.They were not established upon a foundation of building something special, but rather just another place to draw a paycheck.To this day, my passion is to be involved with endeavors in which there is a clear and concise goal to establish and build something special stemming from a top-down approach that values character, integrity and work ethic at all times.
