An experienced higher education professional, I am focused, dedicated, diligent, pragmatic, and empathetic. I have successfully worked with over 250 students, comprising 20 nationalities living across 4 continents and sent out over 2000+ applications. 95 % of my students have been admitted to their top 5 colleges. As an undergraduate college consultant and school career counsellor, my domain knowledge of global universities is extensive. I leverage my extensive professional network (as member of International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC), to stay up to date with the ever changing educational landscape. During my time as a counselor at TBSC, Venezuela, many admissions officers (AOs) visited the school and at DSB, I am in touch with most of the AOs.Moreover, having experienced the college application process as a parent, I understand parent’s apprehensions and advise by example. I studied psychology in college followed by management for my masters. As a result, I have strong 1-1 communication skills and developed patience (learning on the go) and managed to keep both students and parents happy (choice of college, finances etc), with 100 % admits. As a continuous upskilling process, I have travelled to Doha (invited by Northwestern University in Qatar) and attended International ACAC hosted by Tulane and Loyola universities, New Orleans, LA. Additionally, I have attended virtual IACAC conferences, webinars and online sessions hosted by over 100 colleges and universities apart from being invited by Ashoka University to be a panellist for their online events.
