Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a social purpose organisation that works with partners to alleviate disadvantage – towards an Australia where all people and communities thrive. We influence systems to deliver better social outcomes for people by learning about what works in communities, helping organisations be more effective, sharing our perspectives and advocating for change. I am responsible for driving strategic marketing activity aligned to SVA’s core business objectives. I am the marketing lead to the Impact Investing team and an incubated enterprise, Evidence for Learning (https://evidenceforlearning.org.au/). SVA Impact Investing invests in scalable solutions to Australia’s most pressing societal problems. We look for organisations with the capacity to repay a loan or issue equity and generate positive social outcomes. Incubated by SVA, Evidence for Learning has been developed to help educators increase learning outcomes for their students, by improving the availability and use of evidence on great teaching practice.In my role I am responsible for growing the influence and reputation of SVA, sharing knowledge and developing marketing campaigns that are client centric and engage a spectrum of internal and external stakeholders. - Help to drive and implement the marketing and brand strategy for SVA. - Project reporting and profiling on activities and outcomes achieved with investors, investees, teachers and wider SVA audiences.- Managing digital platforms and website for Evidence for Learning.- Developing and executing detailed stakeholder marketing, brand and communication plans.- Developing, delivery and promoting strategic marketing campaigns. Working within the International Development office, this teams focus is to identify sustainable projects to alleviate poverty in developing countries for positive project and community outcomes. The role included the strategic creation and integration of marketing and communication projects and campaigns for The Salvation Army's international development work. Key activity areas within this role include:- Implement the relevant marketing and communications program to achieve the strategic International Development business plan. - Production, monitoring and updating of all marketing and communication publications (print and online) for the international development office. - Responsibility for ensuring adherence to the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) code of conduct for best practice and transparency in all international activity.- Awareness, understanding and sensitivity of the political and social issues within which international projects exist.- Monthly reporting on international development marketing and communication activity.

ChildFund Australia is an international development organisation. It is a member of the ChildFund Alliance – a global network of 12 organisations which assists more than 15 million children and families in 58 countries. This role was situated within the Fundraising and Communications department. It focused on activities to assist a new national peer-to-peer fundraising campaign – The Big Ask. It included fundraising advocacy, campaign strategy input and evaluation.I was responsible for direct marketing and recruitment of participants in The Big Ask campaign. The role involved research and database development.

It is a Company committed to three principal values: quality, diversity, and community.In this role I was accountable for the procurement, management and leveraging of Black Swan State Theatre Company’s sponsorship and partnership portfolio, and managing partnership community activation. It required extensive contact with external stakeholders.

The role consisted of coordinating the partnership investment program including the development of corporate partnerships, day-to-day management of existing partnerships and key stakeholder communications. It also entailed marketing strategy development and implementation for productions, and event management for events conducted within the company.

I was responsible for providing administrative and marketing support to the Marketing Department including development and maintenance of marketing databases, specific marketing initiatives, and external communication for company brand and production awareness.

It produces gala events and is the creator and producer of the Better World Awards held in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. During my internship I worked closely with the CEO of International Luxury Media performing personal assistance and office assistance duties.
