I am a communications professional and ex-journalist committed to creating impactful content across medium - digital and print. Through my work I strive to make all stakeholders aware of the importance of right messaging and a strong communication strategy. I believe that the modern communication scenario puts content in the spotlight and aim to create product worthy of it.I currently work as the Press and Communications Officer with the Delegation of the European Union to India and Bhutan. I started my professional journey as a journalist and worked with leading dailies such as the Hindustan Times, Asian Age and the Indian Express for a decade. Writing, editing and proofing, I rose to the role of news desk head at the Indian Express, leading a team of 8-10 people. I then moved to BCW Six Degrees PR (Alphabet Consulting) as Account Director Content in a client facing role. I now hold working knowledge of both media, start up and the corporate world.Then I moved to a consultant role where I worked with two start ups and also took up independent projects. Some of the clients I worked with on project basis include GreyOrange, GMR Group, Tego, iKen and ghost writing for leaders like CMO and CEOs. I hold great love for the outdoors and environment and have organised community talks, nature walks and camps in past. I aim to do more work in this sphere and motivate others.
