I'm passionate about the transformative power of solution-focused coaching and asking the right questions. Seeking to reach as many students as possible, I run an education organisation (Tutor Doctor Barnet), which specialises in academic coaching in addition to subject-specific tuition. I'm also an Assistant Principal (formerly specialising in Interventions and Inclusion, currently Professional Development). I have experience in closing gaps through planning and implementing strategic whole-school and small group intervention programmes, including regular and rigorous data analysis and interrogating data effectively to identify appropriate actions. I have consistently worked to close gaps for disadvantaged pupils throughout my career, and also have experience with EAL, More Able pupils and Literacy and Numeracy Catch-Up. Currently I'm working in Professional Development to bring together my interests in coaching and education management. In addition to working to build a whole-school coaching ethos, I use monitoring and evaluation to identify and source CPD relevant to the organisation's needs, oversee initial teacher training, and quality assure the appraisal process.
