Well, it’s not just because I agree with him, but I am quite curious by nature. I am allured by how businesses are operated and managed effectively through well-defined functions and processes. I feel humbled to be a part of Monter Group, one of the leading NVOCC and freight forwarding company based in Singapore. Currently I am into Business Development. My responsibilities involve maintaining client relations and also looking out for new opportunities and ventures to expand the business. I also perform data analysis on container movements, cost analysis of empty repos, haulage, Terminal handling charges of various ports within India. Monter has a fleet of 14000 TEUS(Twenty-foot equivalent units) containing general purpose containers and reefers. I am learning different aspects of NVOCC operations and freight forwarding. The top management is supportive and open to new ideas and suggestions. There is always a sense of positive thinking among my peers which is motivating, especially when times are tough.I have good knowledge and understanding of applications like excel ,macros ,Visual basics and Power BI. I am also learning languages like SQL and Python. I’m also passionate about Data science and machine learning and dwell into such topics during my leisure time.I’m usually calm. I am fond of brainstorming and opening up to new ideas. My key skills are communication/ social skills , Teamwork skills, Time management, critical thinking and problem solving.
