Using a strength-based ecological approach and cultural sensitivity I aim to support, engage and help my clients to remove obstacles and build bridges to more fulfilling, healthy, and productive relationships. I am a MAP, and TF-CBT certified LCSW therapist in the states of California, Florida, and Virginia. My experience working with children and families from diverse ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds has given me a cross-cultural understanding of the client's mind-body environment and working as a team to find realistic solutions for their life's daily challenges.I earned a doctorate degree in Psychology at Grand Canyon University, my research focuses on the "Experiences of Latinas as Hispanic, Female, and STEM College Students while Attending a STEM program at Hispanic Serving Institutions in Southern California". I have a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Gender Women Studies. Having graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge, with a Cum Laude GPA, I hold a Master in Social Welfare degree, and PPSC, CWA credentials from UCLA- Luskin School of Public Affairs. I am interested in empowering women to overcome obstacles and thrive in life. I am fascinated by the cognitive process of all beings and how we affect and are affected by our environment. I am engaged in continuing my spiritual growth and expanding my awareness of the divine in us. I am a Clinical Social Worker at heart, culture-sensitive, passionate about mental health, social justice, and children's welfare, and an avid advocate for human and animals rights.
