Lead development of goals and objectives for the department. Managing and coordinating all activities related to sourcing, procurement, planning and logistics of materials and products for Production in a timely manner and budget-conscious deliveries. Also lead material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control activity to ensure efficient material movement, storage, and accurate inventory records.Collaborate for cost-saving measures, analyze supply chain data, and maintain stakeholder relationships. Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that supply chain goals and objectives are met. Supervise, coach, and develop Supply Chain team.

Manage day to day supplier activities including relationship management, on time delivery, pricing, quality issues, forecasting. Responsible for investigation, analysis, and decision making. Manage ERP system set up, and validate correct MRP routines that trigger materials requirement and placement of Purchase Order according to Supplier Leadtimes, Active participation in Global Procurement meetings, support global spend reporting and initiatives, supervision of 6 buyers. Start-up active participation, in activities such as creation of Purchasing Procedures, SAP implementation among others.

Manage national and international suppliers to assure the correct supply of Consumables and Raw materials for production, inventory control, customer service (internal and external), collaborate across the organization to ensure business objectives are met.

Reports to Inside Sales Department, duties and responsibilities: Receive and process customer orders to assure price, ship dates, special instructions are accurate.Provide customer feedback and forecasting to the organization.Support sales efforts including coordinating and participating in meeting with customers.Act as an internal representative for customer needs and work closely with all departments to assure customer needs are understood.Manage customer visits on site and out site.

Negotiaton with international suppliers including material cost, long term contracts and strategic agreements.
