Achievements• I successfully ensured the tight accounting close deadline in spite of a headcount reduction of my team from 120 to 40 employees. This was done by checking each and every step of the month-end-closing procedure, evaluating potential of automatization, implementing automatization for the most time-consuming tasks and implementing Kaizen by visualizing the entire procedure with deadlines and persons in charge. As a result, the reduction was achieved without endangering the global closing process, keeping the established tight schedule of 1.5 days and reducing overtime from 8 to 5 hours.• I eliminated fixed asset losses and fiscal contingencies by calling a Problem Solving Session to understand the root cause of the problems, brainstorm on possible solutions and generate countermeasures that would help to solve the problem, creating awareness of the consequences, implementing policies to record, physical count, donate and destruct fixed assets. The measures were communicated to all stakeholders of the site, a new security protocol was implemented as well and a new software for fixed asset management was acquired. As a result, the existing losses were defined and contained, avoiding future contingencies. In addition, we aim to generate savings for $200K per year in less security personnel in the building.

Lead of International Contract Compliance, Accounts Payable, Process and Productivity team and Global Money Transfer Adjustments team. Manage 30 employees.Voluntary co-leader of the LAROC Data Science team and the Innovation Pillar of the site. Achievements• I significantly improved the target fulfillment of the SLAs of a newly assigned team by challenging the bad work environment, habits and results of the team, implementing continuous improvement tools, redefining Key Performance Indicators, Standard Works, Daily Huddles, Problem Solving Sessions and also implementing Performance Management. As a result, the team Service Level Agreements were surpassed, and team's engagement score went from 50 to 80.

Responsible on protecting the company and its relationship with the master and network agents by following the contract financial and settlement terms. Achievements• I implemented a new commercial policy in the organization regarding agreements between WU and partners. Through a huge communication and negotiation effort with the global business and legal teams, I was able to make them accept, adapt and follow the policy and in addition helped the business to negotiate exceptions with the approvers of the policy. This effort brought savings to the company of around $2M during the first year of implementation and helped streamline the execution process of the contracts, generating further cost reductions.
