I also oversee the performance and activities of up to an additional 100 overseas personnel, with a particular focus on ensuring security of our personnel in some of the most challenging countries around the world.-Instrumental in the development of new HR, H&S, Sales and Operations policies, and successfully managed the change process to ensure embedding and uptake of new systems and procedures-I work very closely with the Production and Quality Assurance Managers and also work with Heads of Department to review company policies including H&S, management and sales-Former member and chairman of the British Constructional Steelwork Associations (BCSA) Commercial and Contracts Committee-Influential in securing CE marking which enabled the company to undertake major steelwork projects including public sector and commercial multi-million pound projects-I have played a pivotal role in building and improving relations between the shop floor and the management team. This has been in tandem with changes to pay structure that has incentivised an improved performance from the shop floor to the senior management team-Appointed as company representative to manage legal issues which has resulted in zero contractual disputes.
