I am passionate about leadership and coaching my team to be the best lawyers and business advisers they can be. I try to promote a positive working environment by operating with emotional intelligence. I have excellent organisational skills which include the ability to prioritise heavy workloads, deal with conflicting demands and meet deadlines within fast moving operational environments and can work with minimal supervision. I enjoy working in a global matrix organisation and am able to manage cultural sensitivities effectively. Stakeholder Management: I am a trusted business partner who is sought out for their input and have strong influencing skills and an ability to deliver impact. A recent example of this was when I advised senior stakeholders to abort the pursuit of a key strategic acquisition following the identification of certain compliance risks as part of a rigorous due diligence process. Although strategically challenging, the decision was taken to withdraw from the process in line with my advice.International Experience: I am comfortable leading a team operating across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, the Middle East and South America and have helped deliver significant growth in turnover and profitability during my time in role. I am also used to effectively managing a legal budget across multiple jurisdictions and building/maintaining a panel of firms in each territory to deliver service excellence and maintain competitive tension on fees.
