I worked with my colleagues and the community to deliver a range of incentive projects with farmers in the region to improve soil health, water quality and grazing management. Towards the end of my time in this role I coordinated the delivery of a $6 million round of funding direct to the local Landcare groups in the region (not done previously) including the highly successful Little River Landcare Group.I was also fortunate to be able to learn from gurus in the field such as Colin Seis and Bruce Maynard (pioneers of the Pasture cropping method) and to be inspired by the spirit and innovation present in the community within the Central West region.
