I am an accomplished biostratigrapher with 16 years experience in the petroleum industry. Following completion of an MSc in Micropalaeontology (2004) at UCL including a dissertation on Paleocene-Eocene nannoplankton, I moved into biostratigraphical consulting where I have gained intensive and varied experience after carrying out work for all the major oil companies. I have significant wellsite experience, having conducted wellsite nannopalaeontology on over 30 wells from the North Sea (UK, Danish and Norwegian Sectors), offshore Trinidad, East and West Africa, the Gulf of Mexico (USA and Mexico), Suriname, Canada and the South China Sea as well as micropalaeontology on some Danish wells too. I now focus on my primary expertise – nannopalaeontology – and have analysed over 200 well sections ranging from Late Triassic to Recent in age, from diverse regions such as throughout Europe, Africa, Australasia, the Americas (including GOM) and China.
