Responsible for mobilising innovate systems needed to support the maintenance of 115 class 700 Desiro City trains for the Thameslink rail franchise. These systems have been an essential enabler of Siemens' successful ₤1.3bn project to deliver the trains on time and mobilise its service team ready for full operation of the train service from day one.

Delivered a turnkey project to deploy a complete fare collection system to the Newcastle Metro. This system has introduced smart card technology that revolutionised the ticket purchase experience for passengers and won the smart ticketing innovation rail award. The project included 600 devices (ticket retailing machines and gate barriers), a full back-office, and all the engineering and preparatory works to enable those systems to be deployed to 60 stations.Fully accredited Project Manager with the PMI PMP accreditation, MSP (Advanced Practioner) and PRINCE2 (Practioner) qualifications.

Responsible for a programme of projects to specify, procure and deploy new ticketing and revenue protection systems. A significant rise in revenue resulted from the first wave of rollout and passenger satisfaction scores were transformed to a high level. Made the business cases for more than ₤25m capital investment in more than 600 new retailing systems installed across the 180 station network. Fully accountable for delivery including recruiting and leading the teams, procurement and implementation.

Held a number of technical and project management roles at ICL. Responsible for systems integration projects for the aviation sector; managed a team of up to 15 software developers that created and deployed an operations management system to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
