I have begun a new career in Veterinary Microbiology. I am currently working on developing Loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) primers to detect skin diseases in Horses, at the University of Surrey. I have contributed to similar work for Fitzpatrick Referrals having spent a year carrying out their bacteriological diagnostics. Previously I was a fully qualified Financial Adviser with 20 years successful sales and management experience. This included extensive coaching and training of colleagues as well as business development. I have an undergraduate background in Biochemistry and I am also a student of the Icelandic language.
