The business was an AIM cash shell in March 2005. Through acquisition and organic growth the Directors have collectively built a National Transportation business. As at November 2011, the annualised turnover of the business is in the region of £100 million, the business operates has over 500 vehicles and employees in the region of 1250-1300 people.Originally I was employed as a Subsidiary Director, later on becoming a Main Board Director and was officially appointed Chief Executive in 2009.On 18th January 2024 the business was acquired via Management Buy Out, Rotala has been delisted from the AIM market and is now a Private Limited Company.

Having left school I joined the family business.in 1995 I became the Operatins Manager, and later the Operators Director. Overtime the business grew and the Geographical spread, and breadth of work developed. This involved working in London, Nottingham and Later Birmingham. When ultimately part of the business was sold and I was required to stay. At that point I was the Managing Director for the Birmingham business.
