Experienced Sports coach with a history of working in Helath & Fitness, Educational and Sporting industries. Skilled in Data Analysis, Coaching, Sports Medicine, Microsoft Excel / Word / Powerpoint. Strong research professional with a MSc Sports Sciences in Sports Performance Analysis from University of Chester. My current employment at Oundle School has broadened my coaching capacity with respect to the range of sports. Furthermore, Oundle School had no performance analysis provisions before I came. Since arriving, I have (along with the head of rugby) introduced video analysis and combined the video aspects with our social media presence to great effect, raising the profile of the sport and school alike. Whilst a school, Oundle boasts a multidisciplinary approach to teaching and coaching, daily interactions and conversations between all heads of sport and director of sport ensure that the pupil’s (aged 4-18) welfare and enjoyment is at the forefront of our intentions. This current academic year, I have taken on a new role with greater responsibility and managing a department (Junior Sport). This has required me to organise and implement training strategies for the junior boys and girls, coordinating and managing external and internal coaches for their training, creating relationships with prep school outreach and aiding pupil recruitment. I have extensive practice in delivering safe and effective coaching, adhering to Covid-19 protocols across a variety of sports in accordance with its NGB guidelines. Further to this I have helped pioneer a comprehensive digital learning platform for pupils to engage with their sport during times of isolation and remote learning.I also coordinate with Laxton Junior School and help staff school-based festivals with our feeder prep school. In addition, we have also hosted pre-season tours with other prep schools across multiple sports. Running festivals and tours, coupled with my involvement in Year 7 & 8 sports for the last two years has solidified my strong relationships with prep schools in the surrounding area. My decision to leave full-time employment and return to study performance analysis at an MSc level is tribute to my dedication to the discipline. My ability to incorporate part-time work, a volunteering role and full-time MSc study demonstrate my excellent organisational skills, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. I am completely IT literate with extensive experience using Word, Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with a keen eye for detail.
