About Simon Haslam

Experienced UK and European patent attorney working in private practice, having worked in-house in industry for several years. Most of my current work relates to patent prosecution and infringement matters, but I have in a previous life dealt with trade marks, licensing, contractual and general agreement-related issues. Despite having a first degree in chemistry I have a broad technical base, having studied for a PhD in chemistry/physics and having worked as a research scientist on liquid crystal display technology. I help out at pro bono CIPA inventors' clinics and in the training of trainee attorneys.
