Photonic were the UK largest privately owned Autodesk System Centre, providing a wide range of CAD/CAM based solutions to industry and commerce. I formed part of a successful UK wide technical and sales team, involved in the supply and implementation of bespoke 2D and 3D design systems. I was promoted from a Technical Support role, to a Sales Executive.

Worked as part of a team responsible for the Mechanical design of instruments and components for fundamental material design and analysis in Ultra High Vacuum conditions. Designed instruments for many leading scientific bodies including CERN, Beijing Institute, University of Houston, University of Warwick and Daresbury Laboratory.Received acknowledgement in Scientific Paper for contribution to the mechanical design of a Low Energy Ion beam deposition instrument.As part of a team covering all disciplines I worked with consultants and scientists to bring about conceptual designs into practical engineering projects, responsible for all aspects of mechanical design.Introduced Computer Aided Design to VSW.
