I'm interested in the non-obvious and granular operations and growth decisions that lead to successful business and creative projects. I appreciate radical simplicity in operational processes and product design, combining creativity with a data driven approach. I was previously the founder and CEO of RefLIVE, a software platform used by large sports organisations and match officials around the world to manage the retention, abuse prevention and performance of match officials.Before becoming a founder, I played soccer semi-professionally, working in accounting and finance, and spending time in the US both to attend college while playing soccer, and exploring and working in Silicon Valley.I'm currently the Chief Entrepreneur in Residence of the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP), enabling founders become the best version of themselves and helping startups improve their growth and operations in one of the world's top University accelerator programs. I also write articles on my substack called Extracting ideas, and complete other writing and consulting projects.Away from work, you can find my with my wife and two daughters, reading, writing, watching sitcoms and films, or watching my sports teams (Essendon Bombers, Chicago Bulls, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, Blackburn Rovers, Iowa Hawkeyes).
