As a Quality Analyst, I've had a big focus on automation. For one legacy product there was not a large number of people who knew the features or system setup, which led to a time-consuming and error-prone regression testing cycle. I built a suite of automated tests and procedures to fire up a vritual test environment, which helped towards more consistent results. I worked closely with the development team on a new product, this time automating on the database-side of things. With several developers working off a common database, we were able to bring up a new machine with restored data in case of issues, reducing downtime for the team and keeping them productive. I also took a 9 month secondment to a Product Owner role. Here there was a requirement to build a backlog at short notice and pull input from UX, architecture and test teams to prepare stories for development across two international locations. In this case, not something that could be automated! But good exposure to working under high pressure, structuring a delivery and contributing towards a good collaborative working environment.

Love it or loath it, we all have to use computer systems at work. SAP customers can have anything from big pains to big hopes for their systems. I guide them to the best support services they need and help them measure and showcase the results. SAP has rich catalogue of support services which cater to a very long list of situations. I listen to customers' objectives and help them decide which services meet their needs. Then I collect their experiences and help them to articulate the value they realized. These vivid stories help other customers appreciate the content of specific services in the portfolio and what to expect on their own journey ahead. SAP Enterprise Support helps an IT organization establish the tools and practices to deliver best in class support to its own end-users. I maintain a light relationship with many customers while they follow the path we have jointly planned. To me, this is access to a plentiful source of a whole host of satisfying support stories.
