‘Trade in Spaces’ is a political project focusing on the links between trade and human rights.- Topics researched include Brexit-related changes to triangular trade between EU, UK and Africa; the Migration Crisis in the EU and Africa; New Generation Trade Agreements; Peace, Neutrality and Disarmament; and Business and Human Rights.- Main achievements were closer parliamentary scrutiny of EU migration policies; representation of African farming interests in Brexit negotiations; awareness-raising of human rights and environmental impacts of trade agreements; input to political programmes on gender and human rights in Africa.
