• Co-ordinate and management of the end to end production process – including quoting, checking artwork, ordering, invoicing and progress jobs through production• Asset management and stock control using the companies DAM system in line with their quoting and production management software• Provide advice and assistance to customers on production service, design & production methods• Ensuring the delivery of service to the customer, achieving contracted service levels and committed deadlines.• Identify new opportunities across the Barclays account whilst improving the service by implementing process• Project managing FCA word changes for all UK Retail Business Banking and Barclays.net assets – over 300 items in total• Continually monitoring print literature to identify costs saving opportunities.

•Having an extensive and varied knowledge of the entire print production in all areas, pre-press, printing and binding (Perfect Bound & Saddle Stitching), this included Wed Offset, Sheetfed and Cut Star processes. • Communicating accurate instructions dependant on the job specifications, liaising with all departments within the company to ensure specific job instructions are followed and deadlines are met. • Being the clients day to day contact following up any queries and questions they may have, keeping them informed of progress throughout production, organising approval of proofs and communicating press pass times.• Organising multi cell mailings, ordering any ad hoc stationary that may be required: envelopes, polythene, printed carrier sheets.• Purchasing various print or print finishing from outwork suppliers. Controlling this throughout to ensure they are produced to the correct specification within budget and on schedule.• Managing the front end of the largest perfect binding production in the UK for Argos (7 million copies over a 12 week production schedule). Ensuring sufficient section stocks are maintained throughout and managing any external storage requirements. • Covering for the production manager and bindery room dispatch manager during any absences, ensuring their day to day operations are maintained.

Building and maintaining customer relations which are self obtained, providing support throughout. • Researching potential new customers by cold calling, internet research and newspaper/magazine articles.• Attending meetings with potential and current clients including tours of Artisans premises.• Discussing and advising clients on their job specifications and organising accurate quotations based on their requirements.• Providing initial cost to clients and negotiating price and terms accordingly to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome to both parties.

Calculating and producing estimates based on client’s job requirements.• Using the companies MOS to create accurate costings based on the client’s specific job requirements.• Liaising with clients and sales representatives on a daily bases to ensure accurate quotations are provided.• Contacting and negotiating with external outworkers.
