Led the conservation team in this moated medieval manor house. Including work to manage the transition to 364 days per year opening with over 110,000 house visitors each year. Developed new approaches to regular and deep conservation cleaning that fully integrated into 7 day a week opening arrangements. Built a team of dedicated and regular conservation volunteers to work alongside the small staff team.Worked to interpret the house to increase visitor enjoyment and boost engagement with its incredible stories. Redisplayed rooms and redesigning the visitor route to improve conservation and access alongside the interpretation.

Secondment role: Leading a multi department team caring for a collection of historic and world class art and ceramics displayed within a 1930s renovated mansion.Managing the day to day care of the major loan of contemporary art by Glen Brown in a state of the art climate controlled gallery.Dealing with a leaky 1930s roof and separate failure of state of the art humidity management system.
