With 16 years in the heritage sector, I’ve gained extensive experience in collections care, historic conservation and operations, both with a visitor and commercial focus.Led the transition to 364 day opening of a medieval moated manor house with an extensive collection, redisplay and new visitor routes, interpretation and research. Previously with responsibility for all onsite commercial activities I’m still passionate about ensuring sustainable approaches to fundraising and income generation through events and in the day to day to fund conservation work both inside and outside. Currently managing a small multi-disciplinary team welcoming 115k visitors over 180 open days each year at a site run in partnership with the resident historic family. Additionally leading a Facilities team across 3 local mansion sites. I’m passionate about working collaboratively with a team to get things done efficiently.
