Worked with a small team of agronomists and social scientists within the Centre for Development Oriented Research on Agriculture and Livelihood Systems to improve the quality of book chapters and working papers for the DEMETER (Droits et Egalité pour une Meilleure Economie de la Terre) Project on Gender, Land and the Right to Food. The research examined the different ways men and women are impacted by agricultural land commercialization, with respect to food security.

Phnom Neang Kangrei is a local Khmer NGO active in Kampong Chhnang since 1994. They work on natural resource management and small-holder livelihoods focused on asset-based community development and supporting decentralised governance policies. My role was to facilitate a 5-year strategic planning process and assist the program coordinator to develop business opportunities related to this plan.

Khmer NGO for Education (KHEN) is a local NGO who works in remote schools in remote areas of Battambang focused on child rights and child protection and the development of young people. • Developed a results-based monitoring and evaluation system for 43 government and community schools in clusters in collaboration with the District Office of Education Youth and Sport in Battambang. • Worked with a team of 18 young people from remote Battambang to develop capacity in rural community development, water safety planning , disability inclusion social auditing and social accountability,• Initiated an action-learning project within 8 child-friendly community schools integrating water safety planning, hygiene education, and the planning of school water supplies into KHEN's programming.

Northey Street City Farm is a 20+ year old community developed urban agriculture project and community hub focused on permaculture education, community food-systems (bio-regional farmers market), social inclusion and enterprise development.• Managing an urban open-access 3-hectare intensive multi-purpose certified organic farm including the development of an Organic Management Plan.• Managing a community green waste recycling facility producing 1m3 of organic compost per week with waste from local businesses.• Management of several interdependent social enterprises; (i) an organic nursery; (ii) a market garden; (iii) an urban allotment garden program • Co-ordinated the production, harvesting, and cooking schedules for 150 meals per week for volunteer lunches.• Scheduling staff work plans and programmed volunteer activities of the farms activities, including government funded welfare to work programs and educational program requirements.• Financial planning and budgeting withing an inter-dependent team structure.
