FounderLiquid8.Com.Au Nov 1999 - Sep 2001During the peak of the dot-com boom in 1999, I launched an online B2B financial services business whilst studying at University.Liquid8.com.au was a full e-commerce site built to help small businesses improve their cash-flow. This was a great learning experience, dealing with leading-edge web technologies at the height of the dot-com boom. I built a small but growing client base with clients in Australia, USA and UK.Whilst I had initial discussions with potential investors interested in growing the business, the dot-com bust in 2001 caused a re-think across the industry. At this time I chose to wind the business up and instead continue University studies.
