Simon Bradshaw combines experience and expertise in engineering and project management with specialist qualifications in the theory and practice of English law.A graduate of Imperial College, London, he served as an engineering officer in the Royal Air Force for 17 years. During this time he obtained further degrees in satellite communications engineering and law, as well as professional engineering and management qualifications. His engineering and IT management experience includes support of critical communications networks, oversight of facilities operation contracts, and urgent installation of IT systems in demanding environments.On leaving the RAF Simon obtained an LLM with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh in Intellectual Property and IT Law. He then undertook the Bar Vocational Course, passing with the highest grade, and was called to the Bar in 2009. He combined his legal and technical expertise as a researcher in the legal issues of cloud computing at Queen Mary, University of London, before moving to Cornwall Street Chambers, Birmingham, to complete his legal training as a pupil barrister. During his pupillage, Simon undertook a wide range of work in the County, Crown, Magistrates' and Family Proceedings Courts, gaining experience across many areas of civil, family and criminal law.
