I'm a Partner at Positive Momentum, which means that I work with clients across the world every day helping them to change their performance in simple, pragmatic ways. One day I may be helping a Board to re-assess their role and change their behaviours, the next I may be helping a brand to reposition or a Sales Manager to drive better pipeline management or creating some new customer experiences or or or ... The ambition of Maidenhead Venues is to help the town to become the thriving cultural hub its residents want. Lets bring people back into town! Maidenhead is changing. Thousands of new people are moving in, and our town is in the middle of its biggest redevelopment programme for decades, with hundreds of millions of pounds being invested in the town centre. We want to make sure that local groups and communities are at the heart of that change, working with developers and the council to create spaces where local culture can thrive.Our aim is to build a home for culture, heritage, education, exhibitions and community groups in the town centre, using new and existing venues. We can deal with the administration, staffing and commercial risks involved in running venues, leaving local organisations free to get on with what they do best.To run this, we’ve set up a community interest company, a special kind of business where all assets and profits have to be used to serve the public good. I'm a Director giving my time pro-bono. The directors and our advisory group are local residents from a wide variety of backgrounds, many of whom have been involved in other local groups or projects like the Civic Society, Heritage Centre, Maidenhead Waterways, Maidenhead Arts and Maidenhead Theatre Council.Most importantly, Maidenhead Venues is completely independent, run by the community for the community.

Then they build recruitment processes, behavioural development programmes and re-build the energy felt in the early years of the business. They do this for some of the largest companies in the world.As co-owner I led the consulting practice and worked directly with clients to ensure that they could actually deliver on their commitment that "people are our most important asset."In 2010 Chemistry was voted Business Magazine Employer of the YearIn 2011 Chemistry was voted Business Enabler of the Year in the UK National Business AwardsAt the end of 2012 Chemistry was awarded Ruban D'Honneur, Employer of the Year in the 2012/13 European Business Awards.Clients include Sky, SAP, British Gas, HP, Harrods, British Airways, Experian, Logica ...I left Chemistry after 9 amazing years of building and operating a successful, award winning consultancy. We had some investors coming in to fund the next wave of technology build and it was the perfect time for me to sell on.

I led the marketing integration of Energis and Cable&Wireless and re-brand of the new business before moving on to build my own business. This included helping teams to integrate, and also evaluating and making some tough choices about who would be in the next team and who wouldn't. Then building all the new strategy and infrastructure to drive a more global marketing approach.

As part of the turn around team I built and led the marketing team that re-positioned Energis from a bankrupt consumer telco to a highly successful, profitable global corporate partner, targeting marketing and client acquisition activity to ensure the highest profile for Energis. Used all the usual mediums of PR, direct campaigns, sales support etc. Resulted in successful re-sale of Energis to Cable&WIreless for $1B. Described by the FT as "the largest turn around in UK history."

Led the initiative to re-invent Accenture in Europe as an outsourcer (as well as the world's largest management consultancy). Guided partners through £100m+ outsourcing deals as their Market Maker and co-managed the pipeline for technology clients across Europe.

Launched the Concert proposition (a joint venture between BT and AT&T) and brand to global corporate clients, setting up the global marketing function and working to support a $6B sales effort.

A variety of roles starting with a general management role as Business Manager Paging in 1993, through Consumer Channel Marketing Manager in '96 on to Global Client Marketing Director prior to Concert launch. The consumer role included the complete re-invention of consumer marketing at BT where as part of an 11 person team we re-launched BT's consumer presence through a co-ordinated 2 year campaign of integrated mail, telemarketing and door to door. We took the cable industry on head to head and slowed it right down!
